Welcome to the String Competition Online

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

String Competition Online (SCO) is the first online competition that is dedicated ENTIRELY to string musicians. We invites Soloists: VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, DOUBLE BASS, GUITAR, HARP players as well as chamber music ensembles (also mixed instruments, up to 9 musicians).

No matter your nationality or age – you can take part in the Competition. You can win First, Second or Third Prize in your category and a Grand Prix award for the Absolute Winner.

No travel expenses: Apply online sharing links to your recordings!

HOW TO TAKE PART?

Record a Video of the repertoire you feel most comfortable with and that shows your skills at their best.
Upload the video to YouTube or a similar platform. Fill out and submit the Application Form

Detailed requirements are described in the RULES.

Application deadline: 15 October 2024

Results announcement: 22th October 2024


JURY

The Jury is composed of prominent musicians who will judge the recordings individually according to the internal jury rules. All the Jury members work independently, we guarantee that each application will be interviewed and evaluated to the highest standards.
