Violin
Karol Kamiński is a polish violinist known for his deep expression, virtuosity and musical sensitivity. He graduated with the highest distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He is a winner of many international violin competitions such as International Music Competition in Sogliano al Rubicone, Italy, “A Piacere” Violin competition in Katowice, Poland. Karol Kaminski is the Laureate of XVIII International Competition of Chamber Music in Łódź, Poland. He has extensive experience playing in chamber ensembles and with orchestras on par with solo performances.
Since 2015 he has been working as Associate concertmaster at the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra in Wrocław.
He has participated in many international festivals around the Europe and Asia such as Aurora Music Festival (Sweden), Hundisburg Music Academy (Germany), International Young Orchestra Academy (Germany), Festival of Karol Lipinski Music, Student Art Festival, G.G.Gorczycki Festival, Ars Cameralis, Festival of the young laureates of competitions (Poland), Contemporanea, Rassegna di musica nuova (Italy), Wratislavia Cantans, Warszawska Jesień (Poland), La folle Journee (Japan, France). Of all his musical travels, Karol counts his trips to Italy among the most valuable, which inspire with the beauty of the landscape and give close contact with art and culture.
His musical development was greatly influenced by the excellent musicians he had the pleasure of working with: his teachers Pawel Puczek and Urszula Pietrzyk-Szlegier as well as Philippe Graffin, Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Roland Baldini, Yair Kless, Piotr Tarcholik.
He has been recognized by numerous cultural institutions and received numerous scholarships.
